Buses from Phoenix Airport with Bus Routes and Times

You will find two bus lines that connect Sky Harbor Airport with the surrounding area. The main service provider is the Valley Metro service, which offers two local bus services to and from PHX from downtown Phoenix.

Valley Metro Bus Route 13

The Valley Metro bus route 13 stops at Terminal 2 at Sky Harbor Airport. The bus continues all the way to 75th Avenue/Buckeye Road. Below you can see the direction of the bus from PHX Airport (Westbound):

  • Exit Sky Harbor Terminal 2.
  • East on Sky Harbor Boulevard.
  • North on Sky Harbor Boulevard immediately after Terminal 2 in order to return back west.
  • West on Sky Harbor Boulevard.
  • Use the 24th Street exit.
  • Continue west past the Executive Terminal.
  • Move left to exit west on Buckeye Road to 75th Avenue.

Valley Metro Bus Route 44

The Valley Metro bus route 44 connects with the Sky Harbor Airport at the 44th Street PHX Sky Train Station. Please see below for more information about the PHX Sky Train.

The bus continues all the way to Deer Valley Drive (Desert Ridge Marriott Resort). Below you can see the direction of the bus from PHX Airport (Northbound):

  • Exit east out of Sky Train Transit Center.
  • North on 44th Street.
  • East on McDonald Drive.
  • North on Tatum Boulevard.
  • West on Windrose Drive.
  • Northeast to Paradise Valley Mall Transit Center.
  • Exit east on Paradise Village Parkway.
  • North on Tatum Boulevard.
  • East on Deer Valley Drive.
  • North on Marriott Resort Drive to the bus stop across from the tennis courts.

PHX Sky Train

Sky Harbor Airport, PHX, serves three passenger terminals, which are all connected by the PHX Sky Train. The Sky Train also connects Terminal 3 and Terminal 4 at PHX Airport to 44th Street PHX Sky Train Station. From this station, you will have a direct connection to Valley Metro Rail, which offers access to Phoenix, Tempe, and Mesa.

Please be aware, that if you are traveling from Terminal 2 you should follow the walkway between Terminals 2 and 3 to the Terminal 3 PHX Sky Train station.

The PHX Sky Train runs seven days a week, 24 hours a day, with departures every 3-5 minutes.

Valley Metro Bus fares can be purchased at stations, the Sky Train terminal and participating retail locations.

A 1-Ride fare is $2 and must be validated before boarding.

You can also purchase a 1-day ticket for $4.00, a 7 days valid ticket for $20.00, or 31 days valid ticket for $64.00.
